  6. Did you know John K Samson really IS an ambassador? As part of Winnipeg’s designation by the federal Government as the Cultural Capital of Canada for 2010, John was named the Arts Ambassador representing the field of music. Check it out at www.artsforall.ca.

And if you want to see more about the Ambassadors, Dance Ambassador Natasha Torres-Garner is presenting a new piece called “Transient Exposition” in the skywalks of Winnipeg all this week. Catch it at noon on Thursday and Friday beginning at noon. It starts in the underground below Portage & Main and makes its way through the covered walkway system to the Millennium Library.

  7. Wow. That absolutely makes sense that he is the an official ambassador. Well, it's working. By the end of this I hope to have a little guide for Weakerthans pilgrimages. Maybe we can arrange tours from the US each winter ;)

Wow, the performance sounds really interesting and isn't far from here. Is it something you follow and watch? I think I will try to catch that tomorrow. Thanks!
